Jobzcafe.com has introduced a new generation of recruitment that combines online media with offline events. We are much different than a traditional job board! jobzcafe.com is a career destination. It is more than just posting a job!
We do not post individual jobs but offer Subscription Packages that promote your company and its workplace. We will showcase your attractive work environment, build awareness of your open positions and connect you with qualified candidates. In addition, we host online and offline events to give you the greatest visibility to potential candidates. Our goal is to create a sustainable recruitment strategy for your company.

How long are the subscription packages? [top]
Your Subscription Package can be 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. Postings are unlimited. Each position is posted for 60, 120 or 360 days. Emails will be sent to subscribers seven days before a job expiration date. Each job can be renewed or deleted.
Why is it beneficial to showcase your company? [top]
A traditional job posting is very sterile. It is for a limited time. They provide information about the job tasks, background required, and salary etc. There is little information about the company's working environment and culture. The more a job seeker knows about a company before they apply for a job, the better chance for a good fit. In addition, passive job seekers will look at companies they would like to work for. The company showcase is an excellent way to inform them of the opportunities available.

There are four venues to showcase a company on jobzcafe.com.

- company recruitment video (preferred 60-90 sec) We can produce a video or use your video
- employees speak- written, audio, or video testimonials

Do you have a service to automate the postings? [top]
Yes, we provide Job Wrapping with our annual Premier Subscription Package. This service can automatically "scrape jobs" from your website or database via xml feed and upload them on www.jobzcafe.com. This eliminates the need to manually post on jobzcafe.com. You still have control over what is posted and when. Call 540-563-2249 to learn more.
Who posts the jobs? [top]
You can manually post your positions, or we can do the work for you through Job Wrapping. After registering your organization, you are provided with a username and password, which gives you 24/7 access to your account to post, edit or delete your jobs. We suggest first creating your job in a Word document and then simply cutting and pasting into our online form.
What information should I include in my posting? [top]
Your job posting should include an exact job description, accurate job title and salary information. You have unlimited posting space to describe the specific skill set and background you are seeking in a candidate. jobzcafe.com attracts active and passive job seekers. Many candidates qualify themselves into or out of a position based on the salary. Leaving out this pertinent information could cost you your ideal candidate. Salary is not required on a posting, but highly recommended. A salary range rather than a specific number is sufficient.

Jobzcafe.com Premier Subscription Package rates are based on the number of employees. Please call 540-563-2249 for specific rates based on the number of employees. For companies wanting basic services, we can customize a package.
How do job seekers respond to my posting? [top]
Jobzcafe.com makes it simple for candidates to respond to your posting. The method of candidate response is your choice. Your choices are email, fax, phone, Web reply and regular U.S. mail. Email and fax tend to be the most popular response methods. Job seekers sign up to be notified daily when new positions are posted on the site that matches their interests. If you prefer to have candidates apply directly through your site, we can arrange a link for this to occur.
How can I filter out job seekers? [top]
For each posting, the employer can create two screening questions that can help to filter out unqualified job seekers. For example, if you were looking for a technical sales person, one of your screening questions would be "Do you have 5yrs+ experience selling chemical products?" If the seekers answer is "no" then they are eliminated. The employer can filter applications based on "yes" or "no" answers to these questions.

The resume and job seeker profile database is searchable by keywords, categories or date posted. Resume search capability is included in our Premier package.
How do people find jobzcafe.com? [top]
Jobzcafe.com is advertised through a variety of media including television, billboard, print, radio and on-line ads. Our 2008 budget includes $250K of media advertising. In addition we will be very active using blogs and social networking (e.g., Facebook, MySpace, YouTube) to involve both employers and jobs seekers, gaining their interest and exposure. Our partnerships with local organizations such as WDBJ7, Roanoke Star Sentinel and educational organizations (e.g., Roanoke Higher Education Center) also drive traffic to the site. In addition, we provide offline events to build awareness of jobzcafe.com and to connect you with job seekers. These events include Talking Tuezdays and career fairs.
